Who We Are ENERGY EDUCATION and ENERGY LITERACY Training at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware

Delaware State University established the Renewable Energy Education Center (REEC) on February 13, 2017, with funding from Delmarva Power. The REEC is in the Division of Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (PEMaCS) under the College of Agriculture, Science, and Technology (CAST). The goals of the REEC are to bring renewable energy to the masses of Delaware, improve the infrastructure and capacity of renewable energy education, research, and extension, and offer certificate programs and credentialing services in renewable energy. The center is located in the Luna I. Mishoe Science Center at Delaware State University (DSU).

Delmarva Power, the REEC sponsor, is a public utility of Exelon Corporation, providing electric energy service to Delaware and Maryland and natural gas customers in northern Delaware.
